Eric Wright enters his fifth year with the Statesmen football program and his first as Director of Football Operations.

Wright has served the previous three seasons as the assistant manager and assistant equipment manager under Coach Rick
Rhoades.

Wright is a native of Tupelo and a 2002 graduate of Pontotoc High School. He graduated in May with a degree in Criminal Justice from Delta State University. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Criminology. Wright is also a Hall Director for Housing and Residence Life at Delta State University.
